Bridal Shopping - Be the Ultimate Wedding Guest Gaffes

When you send back the reply card, write something fun. Instead of leaving the line empty between "will ______attend", insert something like - gladly, happily, are delighted to… Or add some other comment such as "We can't wait!" or "We are thrilled for you both". The bride and her parents will love reading these messages.

On the day of the wedding decorate your car. The bride and groom will appreciate your spirit. Be sure to include a sign on the back saying "Good Luck, John and Mary!"

In the guest book, don't just simply sign your name. Offer specific wishes, a compliment such as "you looked beautiful" or your best piece of marital advice.

If there are disposable cameras left on the table at the reception, have your table be creative with the shots you take. For example, have everyone bend down and put their heads under the tablecloth and take a picture from that perspective. The bride and groom will be impressed.

If you see no one is dancing, be the first to lead. Remember, all couples worry about their guests having a good time.

If it is a cash bar at the wedding, be sure to buy the bride and groom a drink. Bring it over to them personally and have one with them.

When you leave make a point of personally thanking and saying good bye not only to the bride and groom but also to their parents.

Decorate the happy couple's apartment or house with streamers and balloons while they are on their honeymoon for a nice surprise when they get back.

If you know where the bride and groom are going on their honeymoon, send them a postcard to arrive at their hotel a couple of days into their trip. A nice reminder of home.

Another nice thing you could do for the bride and groom on their honeymoon is to order them a bottle of wine or champagne from room service. On you of course.
